This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Post-War British Art at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lawrence Holofcener - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Allies , which sold at auction in September 2020 for GBP 559,500.00 (€ 616,939.71).
