In November 2013 Christies in London held the auction Modern British And Irish Art Day Sale, which included the work Maquette For Allies by Lawrence Holofcener. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 52,500.00 (€ 63,176.72), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lawrence Holofcener have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allies in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 559,500.00 (€ 616,939.71).

Im November 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British And Irish Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maquette For Allies von Lawrence Holofcener zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 63.176,72) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lawrence Holofcener auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allies im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 559.500,00 (€ 616.939,71).
