This artwork by Larry Poons achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2021. In the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Cutter sold for USD 112,500.00 (€ 94,824.68) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Poons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jessica's Hartford in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,043,651.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Larry Poons erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Cutter für USD 112.500,00 (€ 94.824,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Poons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jessica's Hartford im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.150.000,00 (€ 1.043.651,87).
