This artwork by Larry Poons achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2021. In the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Barclay sold for USD 100,000.00 (€ 84,288.60) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Poons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jessica's Hartford in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,043,651.87).

In der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Barclay für USD 100.000,00 (€ 84.288,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Poons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jessica's Hartford im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.150.000,00 (€ 1.043.651,87).
