Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre by Larry Johnson was sold in the Now ! auction at Sothebys in Paris in July 2015. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Larry Johnson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Land Without Bread) in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,404.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Larry Johnson wurde im Juli 2015 in der Auktion Now ! bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Larry Johnson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Land Without Bread) im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.404,66).
