Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Lan Meng was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 188,800.00 (€ 21,819.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lan Meng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Juran in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 189,090.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Lan Meng wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 21.819,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lan Meng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Juran im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 189.090,59).
