Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Lan Meng was sold in the Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 448,400.00 (€ 52,613.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 380,000.00 – 450,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lan Meng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape After Juran, which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 212,500.00 (€ 189,090.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Lan Meng wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 448.400,00 (€ 52.613,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 380.000,00 – 450.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lan Meng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape After Juran beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 212.500,00 (€ 189.090,59) versteigert wurde.
