Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian, which included the work Fearless by Lampu Kansanoh. The price achieved of HKD 18,750.00 (€ 1,779.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lampu Kansanoh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Summer in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,682.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fearless von Lampu Kansanoh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.750,00 (€ 1.779,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lampu Kansanoh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Summer im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.682,67).
