A top price for Lampu Kansanoh - as previously expected
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work The Summer by Lampu Kansanoh. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,682.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Summer is the most expensive artwork by Lampu Kansanoh that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Summer von Lampu Kansanoh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.682,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Summer das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lampu Kansanoh, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
