Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lampu Kansanoh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Sweet Memory sold for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,118.05) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lampu Kansanoh; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Summer sold at auction in October 2015 with the realized price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,682.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lampu Kansanoh erzielte im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Sweet Memory für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.118,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lampu Kansanoh; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Summer im Oktober 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.682,67).
