Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bokje - Billy-Goat by Lambertus Zijl was sold in the 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005. The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lambertus Zijl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kneeling Nude, which sold at auction in December 2014 for EUR 9,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bokje - Billy-Goat von Lambertus Zijl wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lambertus Zijl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kneeling Nude beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für EUR 9.375,00 versteigert wurde.
