Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Victorian & Edwardian Art, which included the work In Good Hands by Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,380.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Looking Out O'Window, Sunshine in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 221,000.00 (€ 300,107.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Victorian & Edwardian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit In Good Hands von Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.380,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Looking Out O'Window, Sunshine im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 221.000,00 (€ 300.107,38).
