A top price for Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema - as previously expected
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work A Looking Out O'Window, Sunshine by Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 221,000.00 (€ 300,107.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Looking Out O'Window, Sunshine is the most expensive artwork by Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Looking Out O'Window, Sunshine von Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 221.000,00 (€ 300.107,38) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Looking Out O'Window, Sunshine das teuerste Kunstwerk von Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
