Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Nude With Fawns by Lado Gudiashvili for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,040.32). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lado Gudiashvili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work By The Black Stream in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 937,250.00 (€ 1,154,596.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nude With Fawns von Lado Gudiashvili für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.040,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lado Gudiashvili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit By The Black Stream im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 937.250,00 (€ 1.154.596,91).
