Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art Day Sale, which included the work Svaneti Landscape by Lado Gudiashvili. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 146,500.00 (€ 176,293.14), 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lado Gudiashvili have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work By The Black Stream in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 937,250.00 (€ 1,154,596.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Svaneti Landscape von Lado Gudiashvili zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 146.500,00 (€ 176.293,14) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lado Gudiashvili auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit By The Black Stream im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 937.250,00 (€ 1.154.596,91).
