This work without title by L. C. Armstrong was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in January 2006. It achieved a price of USD 900.00 (€ 740.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by L. C. Armstrong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Green vase with oranges and skull" in October 2019 with an auction result of EUR 6,694.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von L. C. Armstrong wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 900,00 (€ 740,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von L. C. Armstrong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Green vase with oranges and skull" im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.694,00.
