The work Riverside Scenery by Kuo Hsueh-Hu was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,973.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kuo Hsueh-Hu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Phalaenopsis orchird; A peaceful village; A rising sun, which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 176,400.00 (€ 21,143.50).

Die Arbeit Riverside Scenery von Kuo Hsueh-Hu wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.973,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Für andere Arbeiten von Kuo Hsueh-Hu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Phalaenopsis orchird; A peaceful village; A rising sun beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 176.400,00 (€ 21.143,50) versteigert wurde.
