The price achieved of HKD 176,400.00 (€ 21,143.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Phalaenopsis orchird; A peaceful village; A rising sun is the most expensive artwork by Kuo Hsueh-Hu that we have observed at auctions so far.
