A top price for Kunié Sugiura - as previously expected
The work View from Dakota by Kunié Sugiura was sold in the ULTIMATE Evening & Photographs Day Sales auction at Phillips in London in May 2018. The result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,774.64) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, View from Dakota is the most expensive artwork by Kunié Sugiura that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit View from Dakota von Kunié Sugiura wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion ULTIMATE Evening & Photographs Day Sales bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.774,64) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist View from Dakota das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kunié Sugiura, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
