Sold at the lower estimate price
This work without title by Kumi Sugai was sold in the Art Contemporain Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in December 2018. The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kumi Sugai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work KAGURA (Sacred Music and Dance) in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 277,409.58).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kumi Sugai wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kumi Sugai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit KAGURA (Sacred Music and Dance) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 277.409,58).
