Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre by Kumi Sugai was sold in the Past/Forward - Part II auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,772.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kumi Sugai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work KAGURA (Sacred Music and Dance) in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 277,409.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Kumi Sugai wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Past/Forward - Part II bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.772,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kumi Sugai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit KAGURA (Sacred Music and Dance) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 277.409,58).
