This work without title by Ku Fu-Sheng was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,189.50), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ku Fu-Sheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sitting High(Painted In 1960), which sold at auction in March 2019 for HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ku Fu-Sheng wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.189,50) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ku Fu-Sheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sitting High(Painted In 1960) beobachtet, die im März 2019 für HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28) versteigert wurde.
