Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Promised Land by Ku Fu-Sheng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,845.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ku Fu-Sheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sitting High(Painted In 1960) in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Promised Land von Ku Fu-Sheng kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.845,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ku Fu-Sheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sitting High(Painted In 1960) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28).
