A top price for Ku Fu-Sheng - as previously expected
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Sitting High(Painted In 1960) by Ku Fu-Sheng. It changed hands for a price of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sitting High(Painted In 1960) is the most expensive artwork by Ku Fu-Sheng that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sitting High(Painted In 1960) von Ku Fu-Sheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sitting High(Painted In 1960) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ku Fu-Sheng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
