Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Icy Waters (Painted In 1999) by Ku Fu-Sheng. The price achieved of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 5,339.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ku Fu-Sheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sitting High(Painted In 1960) in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Icy Waters (Painted In 1999) von Ku Fu-Sheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 5.339,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ku Fu-Sheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sitting High(Painted In 1960) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28).
