In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Including Works by Benodebehari Mukherjee from the Mrinalini Mukherjee Foundation auction, the work Untitled (Portrait Of Lilly) sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,902.50) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Krishen Khanna achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Anatomy Lesson in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 264,000.00 (€ 197,397.94).
