Admittedly, works by Krishen Khanna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Anatomy Lesson in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 264,000.00 (€ 197,397.94).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Madonna) von Krishen Khanna kam im März 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 31.933,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Krishen Khanna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Anatomy Lesson im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 264.000,00 (€ 197.397,94).
