Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 58,545.52). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Krishen Khanna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Anatomy Lesson, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 264,000.00 (€ 197,397.94).

Die Arbeit Journey Into Winter Ii von Krishen Khanna wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Including Works by Benodebehari Mukherjee from the Mrinalini Mukherjee Foundation bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 58.545,52) einen neuen Besitzer.
