Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work ht01; & ht02 by Koo Seong Youn. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,493.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Koo Seong Youn have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Candy Series #V.01; Candy Series #V.04; & Candy Series #V.05 was auctioned for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,396.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit ht01; & ht02 von Koo Seong Youn zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.493,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Koo Seong Youn konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Candy Series #V.01; Candy Series #V.04; & Candy Series #V.05 für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.396,06) versteigert.
