A top price for Koo Seong Youn - as previously expected
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Candy Series #V.01; Candy Series #V.04; & Candy Series #V.05 by Koo Seong Youn. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,396.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Candy Series #V.01; Candy Series #V.04; & Candy Series #V.05 is the most expensive artwork by Koo Seong Youn that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Candy Series #V.01; Candy Series #V.04; & Candy Series #V.05 von Koo Seong Youn zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.396,06) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Candy Series #V.01; Candy Series #V.04; & Candy Series #V.05 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Koo Seong Youn, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
