Auction result well in line with expectations
The work North African mother by Konstantin Makovsky was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,235.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blind Man'S Bluff in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 4,287,400.00 (€ 4,836,056.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit North African mother von Konstantin Makovsky kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.235,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Makovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blind Man'S Bluff im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.287.400,00 (€ 4.836.056,95).
