Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman Reading by Konstantin Makovsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,533.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blind Man'S Bluff in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 4,287,400.00 (€ 4,836,056.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman Reading von Konstantin Makovsky wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.533,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Makovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blind Man'S Bluff im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.287.400,00 (€ 4.836.056,95).
