Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maria Matavtina Reclining (Portrait of Madame M) by Konstantin Makovsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 252,000.00 (€ 295,871.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blind Man'S Bluff in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 4,287,400.00 (€ 4,836,056.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maria Matavtina Reclining (Portrait of Madame M) von Konstantin Makovsky kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 252.000,00 (€ 295.871,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Makovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blind Man'S Bluff im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.287.400,00 (€ 4.836.056,95).
