Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Portrait Of Maria Alexeevna Makovskaya by Konstantin Makovsky. The price achieved of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 234,031.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blind Man'S Bluff in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 4,287,400.00 (€ 4,836,056.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Maria Alexeevna Makovskaya von Konstantin Makovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 234.031,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Makovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blind Man'S Bluff im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.287.400,00 (€ 4.836.056,95).
