A top price for Konstantin Makovsky
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Blind Man'S Bluff by Konstantin Makovsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,287,400.00 (€ 4,836,056.95), 43% above the upper estimate. With this result, Blind Man'S Bluff is even the most expensive work of art by Konstantin Makovsky that we have observed at auctions so far.
