In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Village Children by Konstantin Makovsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 200,000.00 (€ 227,029.75), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blind Man'S Bluff in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 4,287,400.00 (€ 4,836,056.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Village Children von Konstantin Makovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 227.029,75) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Makovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blind Man'S Bluff im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.287.400,00 (€ 4.836.056,95).
