The work Improvisation by Konrad Cramer was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2000. It achieved a price of USD 41,125.00 (€ 48,462.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Konrad Cramer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Abstraction sold at auction in May 2019 with the realized price of USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,694.14).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Konrad Cramer; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Abstraction im Mai 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.694,14).
