Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Doors--Window and Hall by Konrad Cramer was sold in the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in May 2004. It changed hands for a price of USD 28,680.00 (€ 23,475.48) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konrad Cramer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstraction, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,694.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Doors--Window and Hall von Konrad Cramer wurde im Mai 2004 in der Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 28.680,00 (€ 23.475,48) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Konrad Cramer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abstraction beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.694,14) versteigert wurde.
