It achieved a price of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,006.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Other works by Kong Lingnan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,166.24) in April 2016 for the work The Drifting Peninsula I (Triptych).
