A top price for Kong Lingnan
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work The Drifting Peninsula I (Triptych) by Kong Lingnan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,166.24), 39% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Drifting Peninsula I (Triptych) is even the most expensive work of art by Kong Lingnan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Drifting Peninsula I (Triptych) von Kong Lingnan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.166,24) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Drifting Peninsula I (Triptych) sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kong Lingnan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
