Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kohei Nawa could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Villus - Buffalo changed hands for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,861.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kohei Nawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work PixCell-Jackalope #5 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kohei Nawa konnte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Villus - Buffalo für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.861,95) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kohei Nawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit PixCell-Jackalope #5 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
