Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work PixCell-Deer #21 by Kohei Nawa was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 459,998.09). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kohei Nawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work PixCell-Jackalope #5, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit PixCell-Deer #21 von Kohei Nawa wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 459.998,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kohei Nawa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit PixCell-Jackalope #5 beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83) versteigert wurde.
