Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Kohei Nawa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. In the 20th and 21st Century Art Evening Sale auction, the work Pix-Cell Deer 23 sold for HKD 6,610,000.00 (€ 698,728.06) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 2,600,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kohei Nawa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot PixCell-Jackalope #5 sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kohei Nawa erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th and 21st Century Art Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Pix-Cell Deer 23 für HKD 6.610.000,00 (€ 698.728,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 2.600.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kohei Nawa; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit PixCell-Jackalope #5 im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
