Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zion by Koen van den Broek was auctioned at Phillips in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,824.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Koen van den Broek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Burning in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zion von Koen van den Broek kam im Juli 2014 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.824,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Koen van den Broek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Burning im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
