Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mirrored Cube by Kitty Kraus was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2011. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,349.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kitty Kraus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2013 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,080.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mirrored Cube von Kitty Kraus wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.349,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kitty Kraus mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2013 für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.080,35) versteigert wurde.
