Sansui ryakuga shiki (Landscapes in the Cursive Picture Style), signed Keisai hitsu and sealed Shoshin, published by Suwaraya Ichibei in Kansei 12 (1800), comprising fifteen double page and twenty-nine single page colour illustrations, good impressions, colours and condition, slight soiling and Soka ryakuga shiki (A Collection of Cursive Drawings of Flowering Plants), signed Keisai hitsu, and sealed Shoshin, colophon dated Kaei 3 (1850), comprising fifty-eight colour illustrations of flowers and their descriptions, good impressions, colours and condition (2)

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Unknown by Kitao Masayoshi was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,986.32). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kitao Masayoshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kaihaku Raikin Zui (Illustrated Catalogue Of Birds From Overseas), which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,717.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Kitao Masayoshi kam im Juli 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.986,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kitao Masayoshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kaihaku Raikin Zui (Illustrated Catalogue Of Birds From Overseas) beobachtet, die im September 2021 für USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.717,54) versteigert wurde.
