The work Untitled, 1971 by Kim Whan-Ki was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2007. It achieved a price of USD 85,000.00 (€ 59,779.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kim Whan-Ki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 05-IV-71 #200 (Universe) in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 101,955,000.00 (€ 11,824,892.46).

Die Arbeit Untitled, 1971 von Kim Whan-Ki kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 85.000,00 (€ 59.779,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kim Whan-Ki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 05-IV-71 #200 (Universe) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 101.955.000,00 (€ 11.824.892,46).
