A top price for Kim Jones - as previously expected
This work without title by Kim Jones was sold in the Collection Loïc Malle: Only Time Will Tell auction at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,528.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Kim Jones that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kim Jones wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Collection Loïc Malle: Only Time Will Tell bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.528,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kim Jones, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
