Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ashura Series by Khosrow Hassanzadeh was sold in the Contemporary Art Day auction at Phillips in London in October 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,490.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Khosrow Hassanzadeh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (From the Ya Ali Madad series) in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 15,236.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ashura Series von Khosrow Hassanzadeh wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.490,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Khosrow Hassanzadeh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (From the Ya Ali Madad series) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 15.236,25).
