Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Ya Ali Madad by Khosrow Hassanzadeh was auctioned at Christies in London in November last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,008.00 (€ 1,168.04). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Khosrow Hassanzadeh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (From the Ya Ali Madad series) in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 15,236.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Ya Ali Madad von Khosrow Hassanzadeh im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.008,00 (€ 1.168,04) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Khosrow Hassanzadeh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (From the Ya Ali Madad series) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 15.236,25).
